Born in Germany in the 1950s, later studying Geophysics in Berlin, working in scientific projects to find water in Northern Africa and doing my PhD in Geophysics, which led me to working in the Research and Development departments for geophysical contractor companies in Germany and the UK, which brought me in turn to the UK in the early 1990s.

Even the most creative work in science can over time get a rather one-sided effort, so much so, that I compensated by training in my spare time as a psychological counsellor and volunteered as counsellor for a drugs and alcohol agency for many years. Got married late, but nevertheless this had a positive effect on me and my wife and changed our outlook on life to new levels.

After retiring early, I went to art college and then studied at the Open University for an Open BA (Hons) [2017] degree courses that had connections to human creativity, like creative writing, linguistics, and art & design.

I make Digital Art with also using Photography and Video. Plans are to venture into Collaborative-Online-Art where artists and interested members of the public can influence changing artworks. This may be possible using video conferencing (Zoom etc) and visual art software (https://processing.org/) in a website setup (WIX etc). If this is interesting for you, please, contact me.

The art works shown on this website are not for sale. Screen-grabs of images are permitted under Creative Commons Licence for non-commercial use.

You can download zip files with low resolution images of my work: Digital Art or Photography which are used in slide shows at some of my exhibitions.

If you are interested to have one of my digital artwork or photography printed (and framed) by yourself I can advise you how to organise that. I provide a high resolution digital file for free once you know what size your print should be. If this is interesting for you, please, contact me.
